Rogic also missed Celtic’s 3-0 victory over Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

The midfielder has had knee issues in the past, ruling him out of Graham Arnold's maiden Socceroos camp in September, and Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers was eager to ensure the “minor” complaint didn’t flare up.

The 25-year-old will now make the trip for Celtic’s Europa League clash with Alex Gersbach’s Rosenborg in Norway from 4:55am AEDT on Friday.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers also confirmed the ex-Central Coast man would be up for selection for Sunday’s league clash with Aberdeen.

“He'll be available for both games,” he said. “It was just that trip he has had.

"With my experience with him coming right the way across the world, it was just too much of a risk for him to play at the weekend.

"But he looked fantastic in training this morning."

Rogic has netted four goals in 20 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops this season.

The left-footer looms as a key figure for the Socceroos for their Asian Cup defence in January.
