Paris Saint-Germain have unveiled their highly-anticipated away kit for the new season, with the strip being manufactured by Nike subsidiary Jordan Brand.

The American sneaker- and sportswear-manufacturer’s latest offering in its trailblazing collaboration with the French super-club is a brand spanking new away strip which has left Parisians in a state of absolute adoration.

The shirt primarily adopts a blood-orange-like colour dubbed ‘Infrared’, which Jordan have put to good use by accompanying it with a slick v-neck collar and black sleeve trims.

It’s the type of kit which the likes of Neymar and Mbappé will make appear as a mere blur as they dash about your TV screen.

A proven fan-favourite and an iconic trademark for the American brand, Jordan’s ‘Infrared’ colourway has quite a storied history, having featured on sneakers across almost three decades.

As Nike explain on their official website:

"The kit is flooded in the iconic infrared shade first introduced on the Air Jordan VI back in 1991. This results in a blistering away look, with head-to-toe infrared giving all of PSG’s teams an audacious change of colours.”

The PSG away jersey is the culmination of ‘Season 2’ of Jordan’s collaboration with the club, having unveiled a huge new line of sneakers, streetwear and accessories earlier this year during Paris Fashion Week.

The kit is likely to be debuted in China this weekend as PSG take on Italian giants Inter Milan in a pre-season friendly.
