Mooy has been strongly tipped to leave Huddersfield Town following the club's relegation.

A number of rivals have been linked with the Aussie including Newcastle United, West Ham United and Leeds United.

According to the Huddersfield Examiner, the Saints and the Hornets are now among that group.

Mooy made 30 appearances, scoring three goals, for the Terriers this season.

The 28-year-old was voted as Huddersfield's best performing player in the 2018/2019 campaign by the Huddersfield Examiner.

The west Yorkshire club won only three of 38 games and saw its manager David Wagner depart in January.
