Aaron Mooy has penned an emotional tribute to departing Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner.
Wagner quit Huddersfield on Monday with the club at the bottom of the Premier League.
It was the German who brought Mooy in on loan from Manchester City and gave him his chance in England two and a half years ago.
He made the midfielder an integral part in his side and built a team around him.
In 2017 Wagner and the Terriers paid £8 million to sign the Socceroo permantently.
Mooy thrived under the coaching of the 47-year-old.
The Australian posted on Instagram: "I will be forever grateful to David for offering me the chance to join Huddersfield and believing in me. He made my childhood dreams come true of playing in the premier league so thank you so much and all the best for the future."
