Remi Garde's Lyon maintained their 100 percent home record with a 3-1 win over Nancy at the Stade Gerland.

Brazilian Michel Bastos struck with a free-kick and a penalty on either side of a Bafetimbi Gomis goal to help Lyon to a 3-0 lead after 31 minutes.

Jung Jo-Gook hit a late consolation as Nancy remain bottom.  Lyon, meanwhile, are level on points with PSG and Montpellier, who came from behind to beat promoted Dijon 5-3.

Dijon were two goals to the good after 11 minutes thanks to Benjamin Corgnet, before a Steven Paulle own goal put Montpellier back in the game.

Striker Olivier Giroud hit a hat-trick to go with a strike from Senegal international Souleymane Camara, ensuring Montpellier would take three points despite Thomas Guerbert's late goal.

Lille moved into fourth after a strong finish gave them a 3-1 win at Auxerre.

Dimitri Payet, Ireneusz Jelen and Mathieu Debuchy netted in the final 20 minutes, after forward Dennis Oliech had given Auxerre a 36th-minute lead.

In other games, Saint-Etienne recorded a 2-1 win over Evian TG as Laurent Batlles and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang struck before Yannick Sagbo scored on the hour mark.

Brest and Caen were forced to settle for a share of the points after Bruno Grougi and Thomas Heurtaux exchanged goals in a 1-1 draw.

Toulouse slipped to fifth thanks to their 0-0 draw at home to Marseille.

Marseille's Charles Kabore was sent off in the 58th minute and Toulouse were also reduced to 10 men when Etienne Capoue was given his marching orders in stoppage time.

In the later game, Nice secured their second win of the season in a convincing 3-0 result against Bordeaux .

Gabon international Eric Mouloungui, attacker David Hellebuyck and full-back Francois Clerc netted as Nice moved up to 13th.
