Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski was named in Poland's starting lineup as the 29-year-old is set to captain the national team in their first World Cup match against Senegal, FIFA said via the tournament's official Twitter account Tuesday.
With 55 international goals to his name, Lewandowski is Poland's all-time leading goalscorer.
Midfielder Maciej Rybus, who won the Russian Premier League title with Lokomotiv Moscow last season, will also start for Poland, who will play Senegal at Moscow's Spartak Stadium later on Tuesday.

Goalkeeper: Wojciech Szczesny;
Defenders: Michal Pazdan, Thiago Cionek, Lukasz Piszczek;
Midfielders: Grzegorz Krychowiak, Kamil Grosicki, Maciej Rybus, Jakub Blaszczykowski, Piotr Zielinski;
Forwards: Arkadiusz Milik, Robert Lewandowski.
