Bayern Munich and Germany defender Joshua Kimmich said Germany would be "well prepared" for their first 2018 World Cup match.
"The core team is the same... as at Euro 2016," Kimmich said.
"Only several young players, who have taken part in the Confederations Cup, joined us. I think we have a great squad at this World Cup.
"We are training really intensively here. Maybe the state (of the team) is not optimal yet, but we would be well prepared for the first match."
Defending champions Germany will play their first game of the tournament against Mexico at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium on Sunday.
The four-time World Cup winners will also play Sweden in Sochi on June 23 and South Korea in Kazan on June 27 in their Group F.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup will last till July 15, with the games set to be played at 12 stadiums across 11 Russian cities.
