AUSSIE goalkeeper Jess Vanstrattan is in transfer limbo after his proposed move to Juventus was blocked by the Italian FA.
Former Joey star Vanstrattan made a handful of appearances for Northern Spirit and has represented Australia at youth level.
He moved to Verona in 2001 and last month looked to have secured a stunning move to the Italian giants as back-up to Gianluigi Buffon.
The move however, has since hit a major stumbling block following a complaint by Verona to the Italian FA.
Verona allege Juventus made an illegal approach for the shotstopper, saying he was released on the basis he would return to Australia for personal reasons.
Vanstrattan's subsequent return to Italy just one month later however, drew concerns from Verona officials who now believe negotiations with Juventus may have begun while Vanstrattan was still contracted to Verona.
