Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner says he won't "waste any energy" about how he will replace Aaron Mooy when he is away on Socceroos duty.
Huddersfield could lose Mooy for more than a month with the midfielder headed to the 2019 Asian Cup in the UAE.
Considering Mooy's importance to the Terriers, his unavailability is a big blow to the club's chances of avoiding relegation.

But Wagner, who says he keeps in close contact with FFA, remains unfazed.
"We are in touch with them, but we have been since I arrived and since Aaron has been here because he's always away on international duty!" he said.
"I think it's too far away to get our head around it and we should not lose any energy thinking about January just now, especially Aaron himself. We need to focus on the important things and that is Brighton this weekend.
"We know everything that we have to know and we will try and bring a suitable situation for us and the federation of Australia as well. But as I said, it's too far away to waste energy on it."
Huddersfield face Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League this weekend and Wagner knows Brighton face a similar problem with Mat Ryan a seeming certainty to be at the Asian Cup.
"I think it's important that we are in touch with the Australian federation and it's similar for Brighton with their goalkeeper as well," he said.
"When it comes, we will deal with it and speak with the federation and see what happens when the tournament starts."
