France defender Adil Rami has announced his retirement from international football following his side's 2018 FIFA World Cup victory, the French news website L’Equipe reported on Sunday.
France won the 2018 FIFA World Cup after beating Croatia 4-2 in the final at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium on Monday (AEST).
The 32-year-old Rami did not play a single minute at the tournament. He made a total of 35 appearances for France since his debut in 2010.
