Archibald Leitch's architectural work becomes immortalised with Everton's latest jersey
There’ll be another stadium-inspired kit doing the rounds in the upcoming season, with Everton becoming the latest Premier League side to unveil their new home strip.
With Chelsea and Bayern Munich also modelling their home kits on their respective stadiums, Everton’s latest release pays tribute to the mastermind behind Goodison Park, Archibald Leitch.

The blue-bodied jersey features a tonal criss-cross design which takes inspiration from the steel girders at the top of the Bullens Road stand.
White detailing appears at the back of the collar and is also used for the sleeve cuffs, which also see the return of the infamous Angry Birds sleeve sponsorship. Charming.
The Toffees will be taking to the Goodison Park surface in white shorts and socks, rounding off the overall look of the home strip.
A player who’ll be hoping for a breakout season in 2019/20, Tom Davies gave his own thoughts on the new design, explaining: “I really like how Umbro have blended a retro feel into a modern kit, and I think the fans will like it too."
“The Archibald Leitch design is synonymous with matchdays at Goodison.”
