In the English Premier League Mat Ryan played a full match and got a valuable three points for Brighton as they defeated Crystal Palace away from home. Ryan was unable to stop Luka Milivojevic's penalty but a yellow card for time wasting helped ensure a 2-1 win for Brighton. Aaron Mooy also completed 90 minutes and picked up a man of the match award although his Huddersfield Town went down 2-0 at home to Bournemouth.

In the Championship Ryan Williams played 20 minutes off the bench for Rotherham United as they lost 2-0 to Sheffield United. Jackson Irvine played a full match for Hull City however his side went down 3-0 to Nottingham Forest. James Meredith started and played an hour for Millwall as they lost 2-1 to Bolton Wanderers. Massimo Luongo played a full 90 minutes for QPR as they drew 0-0 with Stoke City for whom Adam Federici was an unused sub. Bailey Wright played a full match for Bristol City who were unfortunate to lose 1-0 to promotion hopefuls Leeds United.
In League One Kenny Dougall played a full match for Barnsley in their 2-0 win over Accrington Stanley. Cameron Burgess played a full game for Scunthorpe United in their 1-0 loss to Bristol City. Brad Inman started and played 82 minutes for Rochdale in their 2-1 win over Shrewsbury. Olyroo in waiting Harry Souttar played a full match for Fleetwood Town as they lost 2-0 to Walsall.
In SPFL Mark Milligan played a full 90 minutes for Hibernian as they drew 1-1 with Rangers. Ben Garuccio played a full match for Hearts while Oli Bozanic was an 86th minute substitute for Hearts in their 1-0 win over Dundee FC for whom Ryan McGowan played a full game. Ryan Edwards was absent and Jordan Holmes was an unused sub for St Mirren in their 1-0 win over Livingston.
In the Scottish Championship Tom Beadling played a full match for Dunfermline Athletic 1-0 to Alloa Athletic. Scott McDonald was on the scoresheet for Partick Thistle as he steered his side to a 2-1 win over Dundee United. Jack Iredale played a full game for Greenock Morton in a 2-0 loss to Ross County. Lyndon Dykes played a full match for Queen of the South as his side fell 2-0 to Invernes.

Kai Caldebrank Park and Oscar Woods were unused subs for Burnley U23 as they lost 2-0 to Ipswich Town U23. Con Ouzinidis was an unused sub for Everton U23 in their huge 2-0 Merseyside Derby win over Liverpool U23. Joel Rollinson played a full game for Reading U23 as they drew 2-2 with Middlesborough. Jacob Young was a 54th minute substitute for Sunderland U23 in their 1-0 loss to Aston Villa FC whilst later in the week he started and played 70 minutes in their 1-1 draw with Manchester United. Ashley Maynard-Brewer completed 90 minutes for Charlton U23 in their 3-1 win over Colchester United.
