Australian teenager Ben Folami has penned a three-year professional contract with English Championship club Ipswich Town after breaking into the first team this season.
The 18-year-old striker, who left Sydney to join the Ipswich Academy in 2015, made four appearances for the Tractor Boys late in the 2017-18 season.
He debuted in the League Cup in August, before breaking into the side with four Championship appearances in April, including starting against Reading in the penultimate round of fixtures.
Folami has now been rewarded with his maiden professional deal, a three-year contract.
โItโs great to get the contract sorted and Iโm looking forward to hopefully an exciting three years at Ipswich,โ Folami told the club website.

โTo be involved over the last month with the first-team has been brilliant. I have to be grateful first of all to Mick (McCarthy) and TC (Terry Connor) for giving me 45 minutes against Millwall. I never expected that.
โThings have moved on for me very quickly over the last month and now I have to build on that.

Folami, who is uncapped at Australian youth level, will turn 19 in June.
