Former Sydney FC striker John Iredale continues to impress in the Netherlands, grabbing a brace for his Dutch club SC Heerenveen in a huge pre-season victory.
Iredale, 18, joined SC Heerenveen in August last year.
After starring for his club's Under-19s, scoring 19 goals in 29 appearances last season, he was given the chance to play for the first-team in a pre-season friendly.
Last week the centre forward bagged two goals in 12-0 win over amateur side SC Stiens.
Iredale got his first goal in the second half, making it 7-0. He then added the Super Frisians 10th goal of the match.
Former Melbourne Victory and Wellington Phoenix winger Marco Rojas also got on the scoresheet for Heerenveen.
Iredale has represented Australia at Under-20 level and last year caught the eye in the NSW NPL for the Sky Blues' youth team before his move overseas.
